It’s true, Heath is another year older! For his birthday, he was very spoiled. I made him homemade cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast and for his dinner I made him beef stroganoff with Boston Creme Pie for dessert. The night before his birthday I even let him pick any place in all of Kansas City that he would like to eat, and he chose the Red Dragon, which is your typical Chinese restaurant: gross. (I am not a Chinese food fan, but Heath loves it, so for his Birthday that is the only thing he wanted) During the day of his birthday we went to the Kansas City air show to see the Thunderbirds. It was the perfect day, the temperature was just right, and we ran into a couple from Guard, so we were able to hang out with them the whole time. For dinner my family came over which was a great time! Heath’s birthday was topped off by the closing ceremony of the Olympics. It really was a great day, and I was really happy that he really enjoyed it.

He even got a bottle of Silver Select from my parents. This particular Jack Daniels is only available for export only, so he was very very happy to receive this gem.
Heath got the dogs a bed they could lay on in the living room in lieu of laying on the carpet.
This past weekend, Nikki stayed with us. We took her to the dog park where she really enjoyed playing with the dogs. Walker is like the Michael Phelps of dog swimming. He was always beating out the other dogs to the toy. They had so much fun!
Tomorrow we find out if we are having a boy or girl!!!! YIPPEE!!!!
