Christmas time is here, and my heart is flying high. I feel truly blessed this year. I have a top notch husband, two amazing little babies, 2 sweet pups, a great family and 2 grandparents who traveled very far to be with us this Christmas! This Christmas season has been especially special. Not only is it Violet’s very first Christmas and Grant’s second, but it is a season of many wonderful traditions! Decorating, Christmas Cards, Listening to Christmas music, 3 Sisters Christmas baking, Christmas Eve Fondue Night at my house (although this year it was Christmas Eve Eve Eve Fondue night) and Lights and Coffee.
3 Sisters Baking Day
So, 3 Sisters Christmas Baking day is actually a new tradition that both my sisters agreed that is a must! We had a ton of fun!!! Just us girls and the two little helpers. We made oreo balls, Christmas cookies and dipped pretzels. Everything was sooooo scrumptious! We could not get enough samples.
Grant creating the shapes. This was his favorite part!
One of the best things about this day was that Grant was helping out a lot!
Even Violet tried to help.
Help herself, that is.
We ended up with so many goodies!!!! Such a blessing to have 2 wonderful sisters to share special days with.
Christmas Eve Eve Eve Fondue Night
I say Christmas Eve Eve Eve because my sister, who is a hard working CNA, has to work Christmas Eve night. This is a tradition that is on it’s 3rd year in our family. Nobody wants to miss this night! YUMMY!
Here is the spread after it has been noshed on for awhile.
Here are our guests of honor all the way from Valdosta, Georgia!
Violet loved meeting Great Grandpa for the very first time!!!!
She also loved all the attention from Grandma and Grandpa Bramstedt.
Grant trying fondue for the first time. This year it was Chocolate-Marshmallow fondue!!! MMMM!
Even Heath and I got to sit down and enjoy ourselves without one of us doing the hosting or chasing a baby.
Nikki and I.
Cayla and her beau, Chris.
The 3 of us decided to try for a few group shots. We don’t have many pictures of the 3 of us. So this was great!
Lights and Coffee
This was our first annual traditional “Lights and Coffee”. It is called “Lights and Coffee” simply because we have a special drive to look at all the great lights plus the Plaza Lights, with coffee! I really think everything is much more enjoyable with a delicious cup of coffee!
We were definitely not the only ones looking at all the pretty twinkles.
We also stopped at Costco for Christmas Eve food. Violet’s first time to ride with Grant!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!
